Police reports

Jan. 25 — Officer Michael Gordon assisted Wichita police with a report of an auto theft in progress at 725 W. 61st North. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the vehicle, which was impounded by the Park City Police Department, was on a rollback tow truck. Someone got inside the vehicle without permission to obtain an item.

Jan. 25 — Officers Shannon Meyer, Jason Easley and Jeremy Manning assisted Park City police with a domestic violence call at 1075 Hopalong Cassidy Circle.

Jan. 25 — Officers Shannon Meyer, Jason Easley and Jeremy Manning assisted the sheriff's office with traffic control at I-135 and K-254.

Jan. 24 — Officer Matt Trelow responded to a traffic hazard at 69th North and Meridian. A stalled semi-truck was near the intersection on the east side of 69th. Officer directed traffic until the truck was towed.

Jan. 24 — Officer Matt Trelow responded to a water line break at Fourth and Meeds. City crews were notified.

Jan. 24 — Officer Shannon Meyer stopped a vehicle at Main and Meridian. The driver, Justin McGonigle, was arrested on a charge of DUI.

Jan. 24 — Officer Shannon Meyer assisted EMS at 540 W. Second.

Jan. 24 — Officer Virginia Crice assisted EMS at 548 N. Ash.

Jan. 24 — Officer Virginia Crice assisted a person who had fallen at 540 W. Second.

Jan. 23 — Officer Matt Trelow responded to a traffic hazard at 700 N. Meridian. A white SUV stalled while pulling out of the intermediate school. Officer pushed the vehicle to the side of the road. The vehicle started and pulled away.

Jan. 23 — Officer Matt Trelow responded to a report of a solicitor in the 100 block of North Colby.  Officers made contact and the solicitor had a permit.

Jan. 23 — Officer Matt Trelow assisted the sheriff's office with an alarm at 2100 W. 109th North. The front door was open. The residence was cleared and the door was secured. The alarm was deemed false.

Jan. 23 — Officer Matt Trelow assisted EMS at 516 E. Clay.

Jan. 23 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado responded to Fifth and Park where an individual was reportedly riding a four-wheeler illegally on the streets. Officer was unable to locate the individual.

Jan. 23 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado responded to a brush fire at 8023 N. West. There was no one monitoring the fire and there was no water hose. The fire was put out and homeowner was contacted at a later date.

Jan. 23 — Officer Virginia Crice assisted EMS at 311 N. Burns.

Jan. 22 — Officer Matt Trelow responded to 101 W. Industrial to check a van parked in the parking lot.  Officer was disregarded before arrival.

Jan. 22 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado arrested Russell Hartlein on a warrant at 131 S. Colby No. 72.

Jan. 21 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado and Officer Jason Easley checked on a man at 8500 N. Broadway who was walking to Colorado. He was checked for warrants and escorted to the north county line.

Jan. 21 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado and Officer Jason Easley assisted the sheriff's office at 2931 W. Solar Valley Circle with a person who was reportedly suicidal.  Officers arrived and learned the patient was not suicidal, but was suffering from several medical conditions.

Jan. 21 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado and Officer Jason Easley assisted EMS at 9231 N. Seneca.

Jan. 21 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado and Officer Jason Easley responded to a report of a stolen truck at 231 E. Allen. A man reported his truck was stolen from Walmart in Wichita. The Wichita Police Department was contacted.

Jan. 21 — Officer Virginia Crice responded to check the welfare of a person who had not returned home from work at 230 Fiddlers Creek. Officer was disregarded before she arrived.

Jan. 21 — Officer Virginia Crice discovered an open door at 220 E. Ford. Officer checked the building and nothing was found out of place.

Jan. 20 — Officer Michael Gordon assisted the sheriff's office at 85th North and Ridge Road. Officer searched for a woman who was hitchhiking, but could not find her.

Jan. 20 – Officer Michael Gordon assisted the sheriff's office with a disturbance at Valley Center High School. Two adults were fighting. The sheriff's office handled the situation.

Jan. 20 —Sgt. Matt Vogt responded to a child locked in a vehicle at 3100 E. Ford. The child's mother accidentally locked the vehicle while she was loading it. The 18-month-old child was fine.

Jan. 20 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado, Sgt. Matt Vogt and Officers Jason Easley and Shannon Meyer checked for a wanted person at 5355 N. Rock Springs. The person no longer lived at the address.

Jan. 20 — Officers responded to a report of a dead cat at Main and Burns. The cat was not located.

Jan. 20 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado, Sgt. Matt Vogt and Officers Jason Easley and Shannon responded to a report of a woman who allegedly said something about killing herself when she left the house at 625 S. Dexter.

Jan. 20 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction at Main and Meridian. The driver, Felicia Stillman, was arrested on charges of DUI and driving with a suspended license.

Jan. 19 — Officer Michael Gordon responded to a complaint of juveniles riding their bicycles. Officer found the juveniles with their bikes near the AT&T building at 100 S. Abilene. They were fine and not hurting anyone.

Jan. 19 — Officer Michael Gordon followed up on a domestic violence case from Jan. 18. Adam Dunfee was arrested on a charge of domestic battery.

Jan. 19 — Officers Jason Easley and Shannon Meyer assisted the sheriff's office with a traffic issue at 5300 N. West. A large piece of wood was removed from the road.

Jan. 19 — Officers Jason Easley and Shannon Meyer assisted the sheriff's office with a traffic stop at 8100 N. Broadway.

Jan. 19 — Officer J.C. Kirk assisted the sheriff's office with a suspicious vehicle at 101st and Meridian. The reporting party did not give a description, but officer found a paper carrier in the area.

Jan. 23 — 228 W. Fifth, check appliance.

Jan. 23 — 8023 N. West, brush fire.

Jan. 23 — 311 N. Burns, assisted EMS.
