City gearing up to host 4A basketball tournament By The News staff Last Updated: January 29, 2015 Park City is gearing up to host the Class 4A Division II Kansas State High School Boys and Girls Basketball Championship Tournament. This is the second year for Hartman Arena to host the tournament. Games will be played March 11 through 14. In an effort to create more community involvement, the tournament host committee is inviting local businesses to participate. To volunteer or to sponsor, contact Cody Howe at CHowe@hartmanarena.com or 744-8880. As a host for the KSHSAA state basketball tournament, one duty of the host committee is to provide a hospitality room for coaches, officials and media members. All contributions will be used to pay for the food and drinks in the hospitality room over the four-day tournament. |
