CHRISTINE GREY Last Updated: August 23, 2013 Christine Ann (Gates) Grey, 67, died Aug. 18, 2013. She was born in Canyon, Texas, on May 7, 1946, to Burnice and Trena Reid. She worked in marketing for Sam's Club for 25 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, George Gates; second husband, Alfred Grey; sister, Brenda Loberg; and grandson, Kristopher Brashears. She is survived by her children, Darla (John) Goodwin, Paula (Isaac) Shafer, Scott (Kim) Gates and Laura (Robert) Bullard; brother, Dan (Janan) Reid; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; uncle, Richard (Thelma) Wohl; and four nieces and one nephew. Visitation was Aug. 20 and funeral service was Aug. 21, both at Affinity All Faiths Mortuary, 2850 S. Seneca, Wichita. Interment immediately followed the funeral service at Kechi cemetery. Memorials may be sent to American Diabetes Association or American Kidney Foundation. CHARLES HOFFMAN Charles, T Hoffman, 57, former supervisor for Lear Jet, died Aug. 16, 2013. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 286 of North Manchester, Ind. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Hoffman; and sister, Juanita Hoffman. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Dean (Dee) Hoffman of North Manchester, Ind.; his brother, Robert D. Hoffman of Wichita; his nephew, Robert D. (Brooke) Hoffman Jr.; his great-nieces, Rainii Hoffman and River Hoffman; and his great-nephew, Lakyn Hoffman. Visitation with family was Aug. 21, and service was at 10 a.m. Aug. 22, both at Hillside Funeral Home West. Burial followed at Kechi Township Cemetery. |
