Karly Beth Funk and Thomas Gene Standley Last Updated: August 23, 2013 Karly Beth Funk and Thomas Gene Standley, both of Russell, announce their engagement and approaching marriage. The parents of the bride are Carol Funk and Clarence Funk, both of Russell, and the parents of the groom are Brad and Rosie Standley of Russell. The grandparents of the bride are Marian and the late Lynn Droegemeier of Valley Center, and the late Betty and the late Clyde Funk. The grandparents of the groom are Gladys and the late Darrell Standley of Russell, Crystal Dana of Bunkerhill, and Jim and Kathy Dana of Moundridge. The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Valley Center High School and is an elementary education major at Fort Hays State University. The bridegroom is a 2010 graduate of Russell High School and is employed at the family owned business, Central Machine Shop Inc. An Oct. 12, 2013, wedding is planned at Trinity United Methodist Church in Russell. The couple plans to reside in Russell after the wedding. |
