Letters to the Editor
Entertainment not for everyone
I was excited to see the high school play “Rumors" advertised in the newspaper this past week. Few people probably remember just how gifted the class of 1999 was and while I'd like to believe it came from teachings of our parents, I do believe divine intervention was involved. That being said, because it is a rarity for such offerings to come one generation after another, I enjoy and find it my duty to instill the appreciation of the arts into my daughters.
Support for former firefighter
The City of Valley Center has always been a top priority for Rob Tormey and his family. Mr. Hildebrand should research his hiring/firing “duties" before he makes his “proclamations." Perhaps the city council should question this firing. If Mr. Hildebrand can arbitrarily fire at will if he thinks someone disagrees with him, perhaps Mr. Hildebrand should be replaced. He obviously is clueless when it comes to the thoughts of the people of the City of Valley Center.
