Park City resident dies from carbon monoxide poisoning Taylor Messick Police said the victim was temporarily living in a detached building at the residence and was using a gas-powered cooking stove to partially heat the building. Police believe insufficient ventilation allowed the carbon monoxide to accumulate and aren't sure if the stove was faulty or in poor condition. They also said it seems likely the victim died while asleep.
