Kechi officially closes Boardwalk agreement Hornet Enterprises LLC was dissatisfied with the city's terms for the project. The company was adamant that a 10-year, 100-percent tax abatement was necessary to help jumpstart the project. The city felt it could not offer more than a 10-year, sliding scale abatement.
