    According to Sedgwick County jail records, Michael Lee Phillips was booked into the jail about 2 p.m. Feb. 12 on charges of first-degree murder, aggravated battery and two counts of aggravated assault.

    The hearing was prolonged two weeks ago when prosecutors felt they had additional details about the crime that justified new charges. An additional charge of aggravated kidnapping was dismissed in court on Feb. 22, but the charge of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamines was upheld against four defendants.
