    George Robert Hill, 91, of Wichita, died Dec. 26, 2015. He retired from the Kansas Coliseum in 1990.

Girls JV close December with three wins; freshmen win once Randy Fisher
    The Valley Center High School girls junior varsity started the season with three losses by an average of 9 points per game. The Hornets closed December with three wins, outscoring their opponents by an average of 19 points per game, to go 3-3.

    Following a pair of lopsided losses to start the season, the Valley Center High School boys junior varsity team split its last four games of 2015. The Hornets took a 2-4 record into the winter break.
