    Beatrice Arlene “Bea" Kumberg, 95, died Jan. 28, 2015. She retired as the office manager for Wichita State University Police Department in 1987.

    Eloise Mildred (Morris) Henderson, 84, of Wichita, died Jan. 25, 2015.
GAIL SESKER
    Gail Norman Sesker, 90, of Valley Center, died Jan. 30, 2015. He was a retired farmer and restaurant owner.
HUGH PRICE
    Hugh C. Price, 89, of Bloomington, Ind., died Jan. 25, 2015. He retired as an assistant superintendant of Wichita Vocational-Technical School in 1985.
JAMES LEATHERMAN
    James Brian Leatherman, 31, of Valley Center, died Jan. 20, 2015. He was born Aug. 26, 1983.
JOHN BERRY
    John Robert Berry, 96, of Valley Center, died Feb. 1, 2015. He was the retired owner of Berry's Hardware.
LAURA PAVEY
    Laura Louise Pavey, 99, died Feb. 2, 2015. She retired in 1974 as the assistant election commissioner for Sedgwick County.

    Marvin Cecil Denny, 84, of Wichita, died Jan. 30, 2015.
SHARRON UMHOLTZ
    Sharron Joy (Hamby) Umholtz, 64, of Valley Center, died Feb. 3, 2015. She was a reading specialist and teacher at the First United Methodist Church preschool in Valley Center.

    Dr. Susan Dianne (Martinson) Duerksen, 62, of Wichita, died Jan. 27, 2015.

Boy, 13, struck in intersection Chris Strunk
    A 17-year-old motorist was ticketed for inattentive driving after the vehicle he was driving struck a 13-year-old boy in the crosswalk at Fifth and Meridian in Valley Center Feb. 3.
