GAIL SESKER Gail Norman Sesker, 90, of Valley Center, died Jan. 30, 2015. He was a retired farmer and restaurant owner.

HUGH PRICE Hugh C. Price, 89, of Bloomington, Ind., died Jan. 25, 2015. He retired as an assistant superintendant of Wichita Vocational-Technical School in 1985.

JAMES LEATHERMAN James Brian Leatherman, 31, of Valley Center, died Jan. 20, 2015. He was born Aug. 26, 1983.

Boy, 13, struck in intersection Chris Strunk A 17-year-old motorist was ticketed for inattentive driving after the vehicle he was driving struck a 13-year-old boy in the crosswalk at Fifth and Meridian in Valley Center Feb. 3.
