Kechi |
Kechi extends incentive for new small businesses Matt Heilman In its final meeting of 2013 the Kechi City Council had a lot of discussion without much in the way of binding action. One hour of the approximate 2 hour 15 minute meeting was spent behind closed doors in an executive session to discuss matters relating to attorney-client privilege. No binding action was taken in the closed meeting, but when the council reconvened, they approved authorizing City Administrator Bob Conger and City Attorney Andrew Marino to negotiate “in the best interest of the city" with the rural water district. Currently, part of Kechi, including the Sunnydale area north of Valley Center is within the territory served by the rural water district.
