Police reports

Aug. 18 — Officer Rasheed Berry responded to a disturbance at 123 S. Colby. A person was refusing to leave.

Aug. 18 — Officer Rasheed Berry performed a welfare check at 100 N. Burns.

Aug. 18 — Officer Rasheed Berry assisted a resident with a legal question at 884 N. Redbud Court.

Aug. 18 — Officer Jerry Ezell stopped a motorist for a traffic violation at 6016 N. Seneca. He arrested Jesus-Facio-Adame on charges of DUI, possession of marijuana and driving without a license.

Aug. 18 — Officers Jerry Ezell and John Schoen responded to the 200 block of Fiddlers Creek where an individual had made a suicidal comment.

Aug. 17 — Officer Liliana Garcia followed up at 131 N. Abilene.

Aug. 17 — Officer Liliana Garcia responded to a disturbance at 8401 N. Broadway.

Aug. 17 — Officer Liliana Garcia responded to a disturbance at 637 E. Third.

Aug. 17 — Officer Nygaard stopped a vehicle with two juvenile males at 200 E. Main and found drug paraphernalia and THC items.

Aug. 17 — Officer Ryan Mumma responded to 109 N. Burns. A woman reported that someone had been inside her vehicle who shouldn't have been. She said she normally leaves her vehicle unlocked.

Aug. 17 — Officer Ryan Mumma assisted the Sedgwick County sheriff with an alarm at 6654 N. Sheridan. It was false.

Aug. 16 — Officers Liliana Garcia and Eric Leeker took a fraud report at the station. A man reported multiple bank accounts and credit cards were opened in his name.

Aug. 16 — Officers Liliana Garcia and Eric Leeker responded to a disturbance at Sixth and Meridian. A juvenile female reported being assaulted by another juvenile female.

Aug. 16 — Officer Erik Nygaard stopped a motorist for a traffic violation at Meridian and Industrial. He arrested Renee Paulino-Garcia for warrants from Wichita and Sedgwick County and on charges of driving with a suspended license and no proof of insurance.

Aug. 16 — Officer Ryan Mumma spoke with a man on the phone who wanted information about a fight his daughter was in at the middle school.

Aug. 16 — Officer Ryan Mumma assisted Park City police with a vehicle pursuit at 77th North and I-135.

Aug. 16 — Officer Ryan Mumma responded to a suspicious person at 6301 N. Dodge. The calling party reported a person driving very slowly in her neighborhood and later heard dogs barking on Sullivan. Officer searched the area but didn't find anything.

Aug. 16 — Officer Ryan Mumma responded to a disturbance at 1240 E. Ford, Apt. 104. The calling party got into a verbal argument with some friends that carried over into the parking lot. Officers determined it was verbal only. The friends went home.

Aug. 16 — Officer Ryan Mumma assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with a burglary in-progress at 7541 N. 73rd West. The homeowner witnessed a man crawling through the doggy door of the home. The suspect fled from the home without taking anything before officers arrived.

Aug. 15 — Officer Liliana Garcia took a report at the station of possible child abuse.

Aug. 15 — Officer Ryan Mumma responded to 522 N. Dexter. A woman reported feeling uneasy after her ex-boyfriend moved out of her house. She was told to call 911 if he returns and he will be removed from the residence.

Aug. 15 — Officer Ryan Mumma responded to 2 Windmill Court to check the welfare of the calling party's grandson. Everyone was OK.

Aug. 14 — Officers Liliana Garcia, Eric Leeker, Rasheed Berry and Ceara Metzger assisted the Sedgwick County sheriff in searching for a suspect at 131 S. Colby, Apt. 70. The suspect was not found.

Aug. 14 — Officers Jerry Ezell, Scott Hamlin, Erik Nygaard, Eric Leeker, Jeremy Manning and Serenity Donham and Sgt. Jason Easley issued a report at the station to Department for Children and Families that was investigating an incident that may have occurred in Valley Center. 

Aug. 14 — Officers Jerry Ezell, Scott Hamlin, Erik Nygaard, Eric Leeker, Jeremy Manning and Serenity Donham and Sgt. Jason Easley issued a trespass report at the station. The owner of 645 N. Meridian wanted an individual trespassed from the property. 

Aug. 14 — Officers Jerry Ezell, Scott Hamlin, Erik Nygaard, Eric Leeker, Jeremy Manning and Serenity Donham and Sgt. Jason Easley issued a report at the station for a found handgun. A case was completed, and the gun was placed into evidence.

Aug. 14 — Officers Jerry Ezell, Scott Hamlin, Erik Nygaard, Eric Leeker, Jeremy Manning and Serenity Donham and Sgt. Jason Easley arrested Calvin Baker III at the station for a Wichita bench warrant.

Aug. 14 — Officers Jerry Ezell stopped a motorist for a traffic violation at 6115 N. Seneca. The motorist did not stop and led officers on a pursuit that ended at 52nd North and Arkansas. Officer arrested the driver, Bard Dreyfus, for warrants from Sedgwick County and Wichita, and on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, driving with an expired tag, fleeing and eluding, ignition interlock required and an open container of alcohol.

Aug. 13 — Officers Rasheed Berry, Ceara Metzger and Serenity Donham transported Gary L. Easter from the El Dorado Correctional facility to the Sedgwick County Jail.

Aug. 13 — Officers Serenity Donham and Jeremy Manning responded to an alarm at 596 W. First. It was false.

Aug. 13 — Officer Serenity Donham assisted EMS at 821 W. Third.

Aug. 13 — Officers Scott Hamlin, Jerry Ezell and Serenity Donham and Sgt. J.C. Kirk responded to an alarm at 1500 E. Fifth. It was false.

Aug. 13 — Officer Jerry Ezell and Sgt. J.C. Kirk checked an open residence at 596 W. First. They cleared the residence, secured the front door and exited through the garage door.

Aug. 18 — 8435 N. 94th West, assist resident.

Aug. 17 — 637 E. Third, vehicle fire.

Aug. 16 — 419 W. Main, permit.

Aug. 16 — 511 W. Ness, permit.

Aug. 16 — 700 W. Fifth, permit.

Aug. 16 — 8759 N. Ross, medical issue.

Aug. 14 — 100 W. Industrial, heat exposure.

Aug. 13 — 200 S. Colby, assist resident.
