April 21 — Officer Rasheed Berry looked for a juvenile who ran away from parents while in transit to St. Francis for an evaluation. The runaway was found at Second and Abilene fixing a flat tire with friends and released to parents.

April 21 — Officer John Schoen responded to a reckless driver at Clover Lane and Fieldstone. The calling party reported a group of kids driving recklessly and doing burnouts at the elementary school. Officer checked the area but did not find the suspect vehicle.

April 21 — Officer Erik Nygaard responded to 400 N. Meeds where the calling party reported hearing an animal screaming on the railroad tracks. Nygaard checked the area but did not find an animal.

April 20 — Officer John Schoen assisted Valley Center fire at 8300 N West.  

April 20 — Officers Ryan Mumma and Liliana Garcia assisted Valley Center fire at 314 N. Meridian. An individual was reportedly experiencing difficulty breathing and was transported to Newton Medical Center.

April 20 — Officer John Schoen responded to 69th North and Meridian to check the welfare of an individual sitting on a motorcycle for approximately 30 minutes. Officer did not find anyone matching the subject's description.

April 20 — Officer John Schoen took a runaway report at the station from a man who said his son had not returned home.

April 20 — Officer Jerry Ezell stopped at 1300 S. Meridian to check on a motorist whose hazard lights were on. The driver was confused and not sure about his answers to Ezell's questions. Officer arrested Pedro Ortega for a Sedgwick County warrant.

April 20 — Officer Jerry Ezell responded to a general alarm at 506 S. Meridian. It was false.

April 19 — Officer Eric Leeker assisted Park City police with a call regarding an unexploded hand grenade at 77th North and Broadway.

April 19 — Officer Eric Leeker responded to a 911 hang-up call at 127 S. Colby. The call was made after a breaker box in an apartment caught fire and another resident extinguished the fire with water. Valley Center fire responded to make sure the fire did not get into the walls or the roof.

April 19 — Officer John Schoen responded to a reckless driver at 520 S. Eastridge. He spoke with the calling parties and the owner of the vehicle. No further issues were reported.

April 19 — Officers John Schoen and Jerry Ezell responded to the 100 block of West Southwind Drive to check the welfare of a woman who was not at home. Her phone was tracked, and she was located in Wichita. The call was transferred to Wichita police.

April 18 — Officer Eric Leeker checked a building at 801 S. Meridian. Leeker cleared Leeker's after the owner found the back door partially open. No losses were discovered.

April 18 — Officer Liliana Garcia responded to a general alarm at 1602 W. 61st North. It was false.

April 18 — Officer Liliana Garcia responded to the 100 block of North Miles to check the welfare of an adult female for Wesley Medical Center. The woman left the hospital with an IV against medical advice. Officer did not contact anyone at the residence.

April 18 — Officer Liliana Garcia assisted Park City police at 77th North and Broadway by checking the welfare of a motorist whose vehicle was stalled on the southwest corner. The driver said the vehicle had broken down and his wife was on her way to assist.

April 17 — Officers Liliana Garcia and Scott Hamlin responded to a protection-from-abuse violation in the 100 block of South Park. A female said an ex-boyfriend hacked into her Facebook account and created fake Snapchat profiles to contact her.

April 17 — Officers Liliana Garcia and Scott Hamlin responded to a report of a criminal threat in the 100 block of North Abilene. A female reported that her daughter received threatening messages from another kid via Snapchat.

April 17 — Officers Liliana Garcia and Scott Hamlin responded to a verbal dispute at 630 Deerfield.

April 16 — Officer Rasheed Berry assisted Wichita police in the 600 block of North Meridian by handling paperwork for a protection-from-abuse order.

April 16 — Officer Scott Hamlin responded to a suspicious person in an open garage at 317 N. Meridian. He did not find anyone at the residence.

April 15 — Officer Rasheed Berry checked on a man sleeping in the driveway at 77th North and Broadway. The man was trying to rest before walking north. Berry gave him a ride to the Newton Kentucky Fried Chicken.  

April 15 — Officer Rasheed Berry responded to the 100 block of Southwind Drive for a welfare check. A female texted a co-worker that she wanted to hurt herself. No one was home when the officer arrived.

April 15 — Officers Scott Hamlin and John Schoen responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of South Scott.

April 15 — Sgt. J.C. Kirk checked the welfare of a woman walking at 600 N. Meridian. She was found to be missing from Wichita but it hadn't been reported yet.  Officer gave her some water and a ride home.

April 20 — 314 N. Meridian, difficulty breathing.

April 20 — 8300 N. West, check electrical wiring.

April 19 — 127 S. Colby, No. 35, check fire out.

April 19 — 101st North and Broadway, man down.

April 19 — 541 N. Birch, unknown EMS call.

April 19 — 500 W. Ness, unconscious.

April 18 — 912 Redbud Court, water issue.

April 18 — 118 N. Park, fall.

April 17 — 9500 N. I-135 West, out-building fire.

April 17 — 101st North and Hillside, pole fire.

April 15 — 8146 N. Buena Vista, unconscious.

April 15 — 821 W. Third Street Terrace, stroke.
