Police reports

Sept. 9 — Officer Scott Hamlin assisted Wichita police in the 6000 block of North Meridian with an injury accident.

Sept. 7 — Officers Eric Leeker and Jerry Ezell stopped a vehicle at Clay and Dexter for a traffic infraction and smelled the odor of burned marijuana. They arrested the driver on charges of possession and possession of paraphernalia. 

Sept. 6 — Officers Eric Leeker and Jerry Ezell responded to the 9600 block of North Meridian for a child-in-need-of care. A 17-year-old juvenile was afraid to return to his mother's house after arguing with her the night before. Officers took him to the Wichita's Children's Home because his mother did not want him to stay with the grandparents.

Sept. 6 — Sgt. Jason Easley assisted EMS at 821 W. Third.

Sept. 5 — Officer Rasheed Berry assisted Sedgwick County sheriff in the 9600 block of North Meridian. 

Sept. 5 — Officer Rasheed Berry responded to Dollar General, 220 E. Ford. An employee reported receiving a worthless check for reloadable cards.

Sept. 5 — Officer Rasheed Berry responded to an alarm at 416 N. Dexter. It was false.

Sept. 5 — Officer Scott Hamlin responded to an alarm at 4300 W. Palos Verdes. It was false.

Sept. 5 — Officer Scott Hamlin and Sgt. Jason Easley responded to 520 N. Dexter for a welfare check. Everyone was OK.

Sept. 5 — Officer Scott Hamlin assisted Park City police at 6700 N. Longmont with entering a residence to arrest Bryan Swingle for a felony warrant. 

Sept. 5 — Officer Erik Nygaard responded to an alarm at 220 E. Ford. It was false.

Sept. 4 — Officer Rasheed Berry responded to a suspicious person at 316 N. Birch. A woman reportedly drove by and took pictures of the house.

Sept. 4 — Officer Scott Hamlin assisted EMS and Valley Center fire at 426 N. Abilene. 

Sept. 3 — Officer Rasheed Berry responded to 222 S. Meridian where an employee reported a customer wanting to pump gas and pay afterward. The suspect pumped $57.12 worth of fuel and drove off. The employee was unable to read the plate.  

Sept. 3 — Officer Scott Hamlin assisted Sedgwick County sheriff at 700 W. 61st North with an injury accident.

Sept. 3 — Officer Erik Nygaard assisted EMS in the 100 block of North Miles, checked Lions Park and patrolled traffic.

Sept. 9 — 725 W. Cottonwood Drive, vehicle lock-in.

Sept. 9 — 426 N. Abilene, assist resident.

Sept. 6 — 118 E. Fourth, sick person.

Sept. 6 — 301 S. Stoneridge, stroke.

Sept. 6 — 821 W. Third Terrace, sick person.

Sept. 5 — 155 N. Sheridan, assist resident.

Sept. 5 — 12300 N. I-135, injury auto accident.

Sept. 5 — 125th North and I-135, injury auto accident.

Sept. 4 — 134 N. Miles, fall.

Sept. 4 — 131 S. Colby, No. 69, fall.

Sept. 4 — 201 W. Main, stroke.

Sept. 4 — 12300 N. I-135, injury auto accident.

Sept. 4 — 426 N. Abilene, eye problem.

Sept. 4 — 7055 N. Clarence, chest pains.
