Police reports

July 22 — Sgt. Matt Vogt responded to the 100 block of East Fourth for an auto theft.

July 22 — Officer Rasheed Berry responded to the 300 block of West Goff for a domestic disturbance.

July 21 — Officer Eric Leeker and Sgt. Jason Easley responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of South Colby. They arrested Ian Ewyre for a Derby warrant.

July 21 — Officer Eric Leeker and Sgt. Jason Easley checked the community building at 314 E. Clay.

July 21 — Officer Eric Leeker responded to the 200 block of South Meridian and arrested Patricia Bivens for two Wichita warrants and one Sedgwick County warrant.

July 21 — Officer Serenity Donham and Sgt. Matt Vogt located a 3-year-old female in the 900 block of Pheasant Run. They returned the child to her parents.

July 20 — Officer Jeremy Manning responded to vandalism at 101 W. Industrial. The ATM at Halstead Bank was hit by a vehicle or something similar, and they left without reporting the damage.

July 20 — Officer Eric Leeker and Sgt. Jason Easley responded to the 100 block of West Southwind for a welfare check. An individual locked herself out of her house and her young child was asleep inside. The officers were able to get the door open, and the child was fine.

July 19 — Officer Jeremy Manning assisted Valley Center fire at 9600 N. Meridian. The alarm was false.

July 19 — Officer Eric Leeker and Sgt. Jason Easley responded to a traffic hazard in the 8700 block of North Broadway. They moved a mattress in the road to the ditch.

July 19 — Officer Eric Leeker and Sgt. Jason Easley responded to the 100 block of Southwind to assist a resident with a locked screen door.

July 19 — Officer Serenity Donham monitored traffic and performed traffic enforcement.

July 18 — Officer Jeremy Manning received found property at the station from a resident. It was a black case with a meth glass pipe and a small amount of methamphetamine. Contact the Valley Center Police Department to claim it if it's yours.

July 18 — Officer Eric Leeker responded to 81st North and West Street for suspicious people. The calling party reported two people fishing on the bridge and thought they were too close to the road. No one was on the bridge when Leeker arrived.

July 17 — Sgt. Matt Vogt responded to the 800 block of North Redbud Court for a female juvenile reported as a runaway. Vogt checked several locations in the city but did not find her. He entered the information into NCIC.

July 17 — Sgt. Matt Vogt responded to a theft at 1731 E. Tanner Trail. The calling party reported the theft of two sonic spikes used for rodent deterrent by an unknown suspect. The loss was valued at $25.

July 17 — Sgt. Matt Vogt responded to the 100 block of West Southwind for a welfare check of a resident who was reported to be suicidal. The person was not there.

July 17 — Sgt. Matt Vogt assisted Wichita police by looking for a warrant suspect responded in the 600 block of Redbud Court and the 1000 block of Meadow Road.

July 17 — Sgt. J.C. Kirk took a phone message about a vehicle leaving near Ford and Seneca.

July 17 — Officers Rasheed Berry and Serenity Donham responded to the 500 block of North Meridian and arrested Carlos Gonzales Jr. for a Sedgwick County warrant.

July 16 — Sgt. Matt Vogt responded to a possible burglary at 426 N. Abilene. It was determined to not be a burglary. The calling party's family arrived to handle the matter.

July 16 — Sgt. Matt Vogt responded to a residential alarm at 6729 N. Interurban. It was false.

July 16 — Sgt. Matt Vogt responded to 315 N. Colby and talked with a resident about a bike ramp that was taken and then recovered.

July 16 — Sgt. Matt Vogt and Sgt. Jason Easley responded to the 600 block of Deerfield. A male was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital for evaluation per the recommendation of Prairie View.

July 16 — Sgt. J.C. Kirk met at the station with Haysville police who arrested David M. Branson for a warrant.
