Park City takes input on plan By The News staff Last Updated: July 19, 2018 The City of Park City, in conjunction with the Wichita Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, is launching a Pedestrian Connectivity Plan process that will provide recommendations to guide the City's development of its sidewalks and trail systems into destination-based networks. The City is looking for public input to help create connections and identify ways to enhance the overall quality of life in the City of Park City. The feedback the City gains from the public will help to determine what needs and desires exist so that the vision and goals of the project can be set and improvements shaped to fulfil these needs and desires. The first of two sets of public workshops will be held on July 26. The first workshop will be held from noon to 2 p.m. and the second from 6 to 8 p.m., both at the Park City Public Library, 2107 E. 61st Street North. There will be a short presentation with an overview of the project at the beginning of each workshop. The rest of the time will be an informal workshop setting designed to gain feedback and to talk through issues, opportunities, and ideas with city staff, the consultant team, and neighbors. Public participation and engagement is encouraged. Comment forms will be available as well as an online survey available at www.activeparkcity.com at the meeting and for a two-week period following the meeting to gather feedback from meeting attendees and those who cannot attend. |
