Hummon, bachelor of business administration in management; and Lara Lenea Kaljumaa, master of science in nursing (family nurse practitioner). From Bel Aire: Daniel Ibarra, bachelor of arts in music; Jessica Christine Schroeder, master of science in nursing (family nurse practitioner); and Aaron Jaden Webb, bachelor of science in criminal justice. From Wichita: Ashley Jacobs, master of science in special education (high incidence). ††† The Kansas Honors Program will honor this fall the following seniors from Valley Center High School for their academic excellence and achievement: Rachel Binau, Meghan Carlson, Cadence Ciesielski, Reagan Fischer, Emma Girtz, Madison Isham, Wyatt Lange, Chesney Lund, Scott McCune, Carson Orr, Katlynn Owens, Kadin Pearson, Jeannie Qualls, Caleb Rains, Ethan Sonneveldt, Ashley Thorne, Michael Turkali and Pierce White. ††† Logan Wohlford of Valley Center is part of the cast in the Emporia State University homecoming musical, “9 to 5, The Musical." A senior theater major, Wohlford plays the role of Franklin Hart Jr. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Nov. 2 through 4, and 2 p.m. Nov. 5. ††† The Park City Senior Center will host a country dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Oct. 21 to celebrate Aggie Dry's 84th birthday. The Wildwood Band will perform. Everyone is welcome. A $4 donation will be collected at the door. Refreshments will be served, and there will be door prizes. Bring a covered dish or snack to share.
