June 18 — Officer Edwyn Diaz spoke with a woman who found a purse at 21st North and Broadway. She was going back into Wichita and would drop it off at the north substation.

June 18 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 500 block of East 63rd North. The calling party heard from a third party that her 16-year-old daughter posted on social media a video of her taking an unknown amount of pills. The juvenile was alert and coherent. She denied taking any pills and had no intention of hurting herself. EMS found no evidence of her taking anything but transported her to Via Christi St. Joseph's for an evaluation.

June 18 — Officers Brandon Green and Tracey Prideaux responded to a suspicious person in the 3100 block of East Fairchild. A man was reported walking in the area, carrying a rifle and shooting it once. Officers detained the suspect, checked the area and found no signs of a firearm. He was released.

June 18 — Officer Brandon Green stopped a motorist for a traffic violation near mile marker 15.4 on I-135. He arrested Daniel Renner for two Wichita warrants.

June 18 — Officer Tracey Prideaux responded to an alarm in the 5500 block of North Broadway. It was false.  

June 17 — Officer Chuck Trimmell followed up with an individual about a case in the 1900 block of East Cedar Tree Court. The individual did not want to prosecute.  

June 17 — Officer Edwyn Diaz was dispatched to the 650 block of North West Parkview to assist animal control with a dog at-large. Animal control was already on the scene and had contacted the dog's owner.

June 17 — Officer Chuck Trimmell took a report of a non-injury accident in the 1100 block of East 53rd North. A construction cone was caught under a truck and broke an airline. The driver temporarily fixed the airline and moved the truck out of the road. Officer also saw a semitractor dragging a construction cone westbound before entering the interstate. The truck was out of sight by the time he got back to his vehicle.

June 17 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz responded to a vehicle that had struck an object on the highway sitting on the side of the road in the 4400 block of North I-135. KHP was on the scene when officers arrived, and they were disregarded.

June 17 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Chuck Trimmell were flagged down by a resident in the 6800 block of North Hydraulic. The resident reported one of the railroad arms at 53rd North and Arkansas was down but no train was present. Dispatch told officers both the railroad and Wichita north police had been notified.

June 17 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz responded to an alarm in the 6000 block of North Broadway. It was false.

June 17 — Officers Todd Langford, Brandon Green and Christopher Shields responded to the 1500 block of East Cedar Tree. The calling party is a caretaker at the home. She reported that a resident got upset, grabbed a remote and threw it at another resident. Officers spoke with the upset resident, who was making suicidal comments. She was transported to COMCARE.

June 17 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green responded to a disturbance in the 6600 block of North Longmont. The calling party reported a man who had been around his ex-girlfriend's house in a vehicle. Officers advised the man to leave the area. Officers left the area but returned to see the vehicle still there and the man still inside. They ran the plate and found the driver's license was suspended. Officers cited him for multiple traffic violations.  

June 17 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted KHP with an accident in the 10400 block of North I-135.

June 17 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 6200 block of North I-135. The owner of an RV said it has broken down and he wanted to know if he could leave it there until the morning. The owner moved the RV out of the road and will have it towed first thing in the morning.

June 17 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted KHP with an injury accident in the 6200 block of North I-135.

June 17 — Officer Andrew Corlis assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with trying to locate a suspect in the 3300 block of West 53rd North. He was unable to locate the suspect's vehicle.

June 17 — Officer Tracey Prideaux responded to 61st North and Air Cap Drive for a possible drunken driver. She circulated the area but did not find any cars matching the suspect vehicle's description.

June 17 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Andrew Corlis responded to an alarm in the 2600 block of East Fairchild. It was false.

June 16 — Officer Chuck Trimmell tried to follow up with an individual in the 1900 block of East Cedar Tree, but she was not home.

June 16 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked two box trucks in a no parking zone in the 900 block of East Connolly Court. The drivers moved their trucks.

June 16 — Officer Chuck Trimmell arrested Schuyler Willis on two Park City warrants at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility. Trimmell transported Willis from Hutchinson to the Sedgwick County jail.

June 16 — Officers Todd Langford, Brandon Green and Christopher Shields assisted Sedgwick County sheriff in retrieving a stolen vehicle tag in the 6500 block of North West Parkview. The suspect had run from a bounty hunter and other officers. Park City officers took the tag off a vehicle and turned it over to a deputy.

June 16 — Officers Christopher Shields, Brandon Green and Todd Langford responded to a suspicious person in the 6500 block of North West Parkview. A bounty hunter tried to serve a warrant on a wanted female but she jumped a fence. Officers checked the area but were unable to find the suspect.  

June 16 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 6200 block of North Broadway for possible verbal and physical abuse of a child. There were no visible injuries or marks. Officer forwarded the case to the Department for Children and Families.

June 16 — Officers Brandon Green, Todd Langford and Christopher Shields responded to check the welfare of a man walking north in the 8200 block of North I-135. They told the man to not walk on the highway.

June 16 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 6100 block of North Broadway where a utility pole was reported to be on fire. Sedgwick County Fire Department was on the scene and contacted Westar.

June 16 — Officers Todd Langford, Brandon Green and Christopher Shields responded to an assault in the 6400 block of North Ulysses. A man said his girlfriend, Chantel Gasper, tried to get her things out of his house because he was cheating on her. She admitted to kicking him in the groin. Officers arrested Gasper on a charge of domestic violence battery.

June 16 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to an alarm in the 5700 block of North Broadway. It was false.  

June 16 — Officer Andrew Corlis responded to the 1800 block of East Gary where a woman reported her children's father did not bring their children to her at the prescribed time. The woman showed officer old custody paperwork from 2011 that said the father had primary custody. He advised this was a civil matter. She said she understood and just wanted the issue documented.

June 16 — Officer Andrew Corlis confirmed a Park City warrant for Alandress Winburn, who had been arrested by Wichita police.

June 15 — Officer Edwyn Diaz served a notice to appear in the 400 block of North Dexter.

June 15 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz located a wanted person in the 1700 block of East Ventnor. Due to injuries he sustained in an accident, the man was transported by EMS for treatment. Officers advised that Judge Beall wanted him in court at 6:30 tonight for a warrant.

June 15 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to the 1900 block of East Cedar Tree Court for a larceny. The reporting party said someone removed a cellphone from the home after she left for work. Loss valued at $900. Officers Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz arrested a juvenile on charges of battery and criminal damage to property. The juvenile had shoved his grandmother to the ground, broke several items, put numerous holes in sheetrock and shattered a passenger side window and front windshield of a vehicle. Damage estimated at $2,455.

June 15 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to the 800 block of East 61st North where KHP had advised of an inoperable armored truck in the lane of travel. Officer spoke with the occupants of the vehicle who said a tow was on its way from Salina. The occupants and others were able to move the vehicle from the road.

June 15 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green followed up with two people in the 1600 block of East Lancaster Drive about an incident that occurred June 14. One man told officers the juvenile was not playing attention to their conversation, so he threw his phone to the other side of the couch. The juvenile then threw the first punch.

June 15 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted EMS in the 6200 block of North Broadway.

June 15 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to vandalism in the 1400 block of East 61st North. The reporting party said someone broke the windshield on his vehicle. Damage estimated at $100.

June 15 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green responded to the 200 block of East 53rd North. The calling party said a man edging the sidewalk with a weed eater propelled a rock into his vehicle's window. Officers advised this was a civil matter.

June 15 — Officer Christopher Shields took a report of someone passing a worthless check in the 6200 block of North Broadway.

June 15 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a traffic issue in the 5500 block of North Broadway. An electronic construction sign had flipped over in the middle of the road because of high wind. Officers contacted the construction manager who sent a crew to remove the sign and put up a new one.

June 15 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a non-injury accident in the 5300 block of North Hydraulic.

June 15 — Officer Todd Langford spoke with a woman on the phone in the 500 block of East 61st North. She said a man was harassing her while her husband, who had a protection from abuse order against, is gone. She said the man had come over uninvited several times and she had told him to leave her alone. Officer went to the man's house and tried to make contact, but he did not answer the door. He advised the woman to call the police if he came over again.

June 15 — Officer Tracey Prideaux spoke with a person in the 700 block of East Beaumont who wanted to report the theft of a license tag in Wichita. Officer provided information on how to make the report with Wichita police.

June 15 — Officer Andrew Corlis was dispatched to the 6000 block of North I-135 to check a tractor in the ditch with a light on. He found the tractor and turned off the light.

June 14 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 5500 block of North Hydraulic. The calling party said an employee no longer wanted a toolbox and left it by the trash can, sending a mass text message saying if someone wanted it, they could have it. The calling party said he moved the toolbox into the garage, and a man took it and would not return it. The man said he sent the employee a text message saying he would take it, came back within 15 minutes, found the toolbox in the garage and left with it. Officers explained to the calling party this is a civil issue. The incident occurred two weeks ago.

June 14 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 400 block of East 61st North to look for a woman near the truck stop yelling for help. They checked the truck stop and surrounding area but did not find any woman in distress.

June 14 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to the 1700 block of East Ventnor. A man reported a known woman sending him two text messages today and trying to contact his wife. The man does not wish to pursue charges; he just wants the woman to stop. He also said a different woman called last night asking if they knew where their son was because he was running from the police.

June 14 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green responded to the 6100 block of North Prospect Road. The calling party found a pen he thought was used to snort cocaine next to the vending machines. The pen was tested and it came back positive. The pen was submitted to property and evidence.

June 14 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green spoke with a man at the station. The reporting party said he received a phone message from someone who was going to come over to his house. The reporting party felt threatened and did not know if the person messaging him was going to come to his house. He felt threatened and did not know f the person was serious. Officers told him they would document the incident and if anyone comes over to call 911.

June 14 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to disorderly conduct in the 1600 block of Lancaster. A juvenile said he got into a fight with an adult and another juvenile. He told officers the adult threw his phone because he wasn't paying attention to the conversation. The juvenile and the adult started pushing each other and it became a fight, at which point the other juvenile joined in. Once the juvenile called police, the others involved left the scene.

June 14 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Tracey Prideaux stopped a motorist for a traffic violation in the 5200 block of North Primrose. They arrested Surgio Dalarrios for a Wichita warrant and multiple traffic charges.

June 14 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Tracey Prideaux stopped a motorist for traffic violations in the 800 block of East 53rd North. They arrested Christopher bell on a charge of DUI.

June 13 — Officer Chuck Trimmell reported the Sedgwick County jail has Amber Jenson in custody for other charges and would add a Park City warrant to them.

June 13 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green saw a truck parked in the driveway of a home in the 1700 block of East Ventnor and watched the driver run through the back yard. Officers contacted the homeowner who wanted the truck towed. Officers arranged for the tow.  

June 13 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and a Sedgwick County deputy checked a truck leaving a closed business in the 700 block of East 45th North. Everything was OK.

June 13 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green checked a business in the 200 block of West 53rd North after seeing an open gate. They contacted a key holder, and everything was OK.

June 13 — Sgt. Keith Goodall assisted Sedgwick County deputies with a traffic stop in the 3800 block of North Hydraulic of a vehicle seen leaving a house in Park City. The driver was taken into custody. A passenger swallowed meth and prescription pills after lying about his identity. The passenger was transported to a hospital, and the officer was disregarded.

June 12 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a report of a non-injury, hit-and-run accident in the 100 block of East 61st North.

June 12 — Officer Edwyn Diaz reported that the Sedgwick County jail had Kenneth D. Peterson in custody for other charges and would add a Park City warrant to them.

June 12 — Sgt. Keith Goodall assisted a Sedgwick County deputy with a welfare check in the 8500 block of North Hydraulic. The motorist was fine and did not need assistance.

June 12 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to an alarm in the 4900 block of North Broadway. It was false.

June 12 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and a Valley Center officer responded to the 1600 block of East 91st Circle North. A resident reported a large bull snake in the engine compartment of his vehicle. They were unable to get the snake out. The driver said he would just wait it out.

June 12 — Sgt. Keith Goodall took a report of a person passing three worthless checks in the 6200 block of North Broadway.

June 12 — Officer Christopher Shields and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a suspicious person in the 1500 block of East 93rd North. The calling party said his daughter went over to feed the neighbor's cat and an unknown person was there. Officers contacted the person at the house, who is family of the homeowner and has permission to be there.

June 12 — Officer Christopher Shields and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 6400 block of North Ulysses where a naked woman was reported in the neighbor's yard. Officers contacted the woman, who refused to speak with them due to what appeared to be a mental illness. She was transported to COMCARE for an evaluation.

June 12 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and a Valley Center officer responded to a simple assault in the 500 block of East 63rd North. The calling party said a woman grabbed her 9-year-old son by the arm and punched him in the back after he was fighting with his younger brother. The juvenile had visible injuries. The children went to stay with a relative. Officers forwarded the case to the Exploited and Missing Child Unit and the Department for Children and Families.

June 12 — Officer Andrew Corlis responded to the 6900 block of North Wendell to check the welfare of a child living there. Everything looked OK, and the child appeared to have a stable living environment.

June 12 — Officer Christopher Shields took a report of a non-injury, vehicle-vs.-deer accident in the 8500 block of North Hydraulic.

June 12 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Christopher Shields responded to suspicious vehicles in the 4800 block of North Wyndham. A truck and a vehicle were reported driving around the neighborhood, doing unknown things. Officers did not find either vehicle or anything suspicious.

June 12 — Officer Andrew Corlis assisted Bel Aire police with a suspicious person in the 4400 block of North Stratford lane. They did not find anything suspicious.

June 11 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 6700 block of North Hydraulic to check for a stolen cellphone pinging at this location on a Wichita police case. The officers made contact with a 13-year-old who had the phone. The victim did not wish to prosecute. The phone was cleared as stolen and the owner was contacted.

June 11 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted EMS in the 6300 block of North Scottsville with a white female, having a possible seizure. The patient was transported to Wesley by EMS.

June 11 — Sgt. Richard Wolff assisted Harvey County sheriff in the 2200 block of East 61st North in contacting a male to insure he had his 2 1/2-year-old daughter in his custody. Both were found to be OK and Harvey County sheriff was notified.

June 11 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 200 block of East 53rd North. The victim in another case came and signed for her recovered cellphone under a Wichita police case that Park City police recovered.

June 11 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to an alarm in the 5900 block of North Prospect. The alarm was deemed false.

June 11 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a suspicious character call in the 8400 block of North Broadway. The calling party reported a man walking away from a green truck northbound on Broadway, hitchhiking. Shields contacted the vehicle owner who claimed his truck broke down and he was on his way to get it.

June 11 — Officer Christopher Shields and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a disturbance in the 1600 block of East Lancaster where the calling party reported having a verbal disturbance with her 17-year-old foster child.

June 11 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with an alarm in the 3300 block of West 53rd North. The alarm was deemed false.

June 11 — Officer Tracey Prideaux and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to the 1700 block of East Charleston on a disturbance call. The calling party was held so there was a delayed response. Upon arrival, the homeowner would not answer the door and the other party was nowhere to be found.

June 11 — Lt. Hobert Capps responded to an alarm in the 200 block of West 53rd North. The alarm was deemed false.

June 11 — Officer Tracey Prideaux assisted Wichita police in the 500 block of East 63rd North regarding a previous incident with the family and the condition of the house. Wichita police took two juveniles from the house to be transported to the Wichita Children's Home.

June 11 — Lt. Hobert Capps responded to the 8500 block of North I-135 where he checked for a blue minivan driving recklessly. Capps was unable to locate the vehicle.

June 11 — Lt. Hobert Capps assisted Sedgwick County sheriff in the 4600 block of North Hydraulic by checking for a subject in reference to a wrecked vehicle in the Oaklawn area. Capps was unable to locate the subject.

June 10 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to an alarm in the 5100 block of North Broadway. The alarm was deemed false.

June 10 — Officer Edwyn Diaz, while at the station, received a request to contact Spider about a Park City warrant. Diaz contacted Spider and was told to disregard the warrant confirmation.

June 10 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to the 2100 block of East Ventnor. The calling party wanted officers to standby to prevent a disturbance while she picked up her daughter from her mother's house in Park City. Diaz spoke with the mother who advised there would be no problems in her picking up her child and no need for officers.

June 10 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to an alarm in the 2400 block of East Gary. The alarm was deemed false.

June 10 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to an alarm in the 1900 block of East Highridge Court. The alarm was deemed false.

June 10 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 6700 block of North Ulysses. The calling party reported his wife missing since June 8. She was driving their blue 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. She was entered into NCIC as a missing person.

June 10 — Officers Brandon Green and Christopher Shields, Lt. Hobert Capps and Det. Dwight Wilkes responded to the 1500 block of East Ashford. The calling party reported not being able to contact a neighbor and an odor coming from the house with flies gathered around the house. The officers forced entry into the house and found the resident to be deceased. The body was released to a mortuary.

June 10 — Officer Brandon Green responded to the 600 block of East 101st North. A juvenile reported an adult male head-but him, causing a nose bleed. No independent witnesses were available and the case will be presented to a prosecutor.

June 10 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 7700 block of North Broadway where the calling party reported her juvenile son falling from the bleachers. Medic was on scene and transported the juvenile to Wesley Medical Center.

June 10 — Officers Christopher Shields and Brandon Green responded to the 7700 block of North Broadway where a juvenile reported another juvenile grabbing her by the hair and punching her in the face then leaving. There was no evidence to support the story and no independent witnesses. The officers were unable to locate the suspected juvenile.

June 10 — Officers Christopher Shields and Brandon Green responded to the 600 block of East 101st North. The calling party reported an individual striking him in the head with a closed fist. Video of the incident and independent witnesses were available. The suspect was hiding somewhere and officers were unable to locate him.

June 10 — Officer Tracey Prideaux and Lt. Hobert Capps with assistance of Kechi police stopped a vehicle in the 1800 block of East Cedar Tree after it left a party with the lights off. Beer, a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were seized. The evidence was submitted. The suspects were released. Charges are pending follow-up.

June 10 — Officer Tracey Prideaux and Lt. Hobert Capps stopped a vehicle in the 5500 block of North Hydraulic after it left the same party. Odor of the vehicle and probable cause search of the vehicle and occupants revealed marijuana scales, packaging materials and a stolen 9MM submachine gun through Wichita police. The evidence pointed to a juvenile, who lied about his identity and was in possession of a large amount of cash in small denominations. He was arrested and booked into the juvenile intake and assessment center on a felony warrant through Sedgwick County and bench warrant through Wichita and on charges of possession with intent to distribute, possession of stolen property, and felony interference with a law enforcement officer. Evidence was submitted.

June 9 — Officer Chuck Trimmell assisted EMS in the 5800 block of North Prospect with a patient who fell and broke an ankle. EMS transported the patient for treatment.

June 9 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted Park City road crew in the 500 block of East 61st North in picking up a trashed bike left in the median.

June 9 — Officer Edwyn Diaz received a call while at the station from a calling party who reported having a verbal argument with her daughter's new boyfriend at the Broadmoor apartments. She was advised to make a report with Wichita police since the incident occurred in Wichita.

June 9 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to the 6600 block of North Longmont. Diaz checked for a wanted male who had two warrants issued through Park City. Diaz was not able to locate him.

June 9 — Officer Chuck Trimmell removed construction debris from the road in the 1700 block of East 53rd North.

June 9 — Officer Edwyn Diaz performed follow-up on a prior case in the 2000 block of East Ventnor.

June 9 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to the 6800 block of North Hydraulic. Diaz contacted the calling party who advised finding a black Kershaw folding knife on top of the picnic table by the playground. The property was submitted to lost and found.

June 9 — Officer Tracey Prideaux responded to the 6900 block of North Wendell. A juvenile reported being punched in the face and bullied by another juvenile and a video of it was posted on YouTube. Prideaux was unable to see any punches on the video and no injury on the reporting juvenile. All juveniles were talked to and the video was deleted.

June 9 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Brandon Green responded to the 1200 block of East Denver. The calling party reported that a juvenile lit a lighter and sprayed carburetor fluid on another juvenile, which lit his face on fire. No EMS was needed and the mother did not want to press charges. She just wanted documentation and the suspect juvenile trespassed from her property.

June 9 — Officers Todd Langford and Andrew Corlis, while at the station, confirmed a Park City warrant for Antonio Cordero. The warrant was confirmed, and the warrant was faxed to Reno County jail for booking.

June 9 — Officers Todd Langford, Andrew Corlis and Tracey Prideaux responded to the 1300 block of East Denver where they contacted two individuals with one who told them that another male hit his girlfriend in the face, and broke out one of the reporting party's front door windows. Officers could not locate the suspect at that time.
