May 13 — Officer Edwyn Diaz reported that a vehicle involved in an accident May 8 at 77th North and Broadway was towed by Northend Auto.

May 13 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked a vehicle in the City Hall parking lot. The occupants said they were waiting for their cousin to arrive at the Senior Center for a reception.

May 13 — Officer Christopher Shields took a non-injury accident report in the 6200 block of North Broadway.

May 13 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a report of three people at a vacant residence in the 1700 block of East Ventnor. He spoke with the neighbor who identified the suspects. Officer spoke with the suspects and told them to stay off the property until the homeowner was contacted.

May 13 — Officers Todd Langford, Brandon Green and Christopher Shields responded to the 1300 block of East Evanston. A resident said the occupants in a neighboring house were stealing electricity from his home. Officers collected two extension cords as evidence. There was no answer at the suspects' door.

May 13 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to an alarm in the 200 block of West 53rd North. It was false.

May 13 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Andrew Corlis responded to a motorcycle driving recklessly in the 1700 block of East Ravena. They were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.

May 13 — Officers Blake Sanchez, Andrew Corlis and Tracey Prideaux stopped a motorist for a traffic violation in he 5000 block of North I-135. They arrested Thomas Avery Carter for a Sedgwick County warrant.

May 13 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Andrew Corlis stopped a vehicle with an unassigned 60-day tag near mile marker 18.6 on northbound I-135. Officers seized the tag and released the driver.

May 13 — Officer Blake Sanchez responded to a loud noise complaint in the 1600 block of East Fallbrook. The calling party said his neighbors' party was very loud. Officer spoke with the individuals at the residence. They were having a graduation party and would keep the noise down.

May 13 — Officer Blake Sanchez spoke on the phone with Salina police. They had stopped a juvenile who wanted them to contact her mother to make sure she was supposed to be in Salina. The mother advised the juvenile was allowed to be in Salina with her friend.

May 12 — Officer Chuck Trimmell spoke with a man about setting up camp in his fifth-wheel RV in a parking lot in the 1700 block of East 61st North. The man said he pulled over due to the weather and was getting ready to leave.

May 12 — Officer Edwyn Diaz monitored the school zone in the 6000 block of North independence. No violations seen.

May 12 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to the 6300 block of North Scottsville. A juvenile reported that May 9 she received threatening messages and a photo of a handgun via Facebook from another juvenile she had just met on Facebook. The threatening party also indicated using the weapon against the reporting party.

May 12 — Officers Todd Langford, Brandon Green and Christopher Shields responded to assault in the 1500 block of East Cedar Tree. The calling party said Jordan Thomas was upset and threw a toaster and an iron and hit the calling party in the hand with a thrown pot. Officers arrested Jordan on a charge of battery.

May 12 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 4600 block of North Hydraulic for a runaway. The calling party said her 16-year-old daughter ran away after a verbal argument and gave an address to where she possibly went. The juvenile was located and transported to the Wichita Children's Home per her parents' request.

May 12 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green responded to a possible overdose in the 6300 block of North Millsboro. They knocked on all the doors but no one answered. They looked in windows for a person on the floor, but nothing was seen and no one was contacted.

May 12 — Officer Todd Langford answered questions of the director of the Wichita Trans4mation Home about an incident.

May 12 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green confirmed a warrant for Aaron Dorman, who was arrested by an outside agency for the warrant.

May 12 — Officers Todd Langford, Brandon Green and Christopher Shields responded to a disturbance with a knife in the 700 block of East Beaumont. They found the suspect walking south in the 6300 block of North Broadway to his girlfriend's brother's house in Wichita following an argument. Officers talked with the woman involved and other people present at the time about what happened. Officers were told the suspect was mad and wanted things out of the woman's car. One person said he would drive the suspect to the Wichita location to stay the night.

May 12 — Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to domestic violence in the 6000 block of North East Parkview. The calling party said her sister was intoxicated, pounded on the door and woke everyone up. Officer spoke with the sister who had walked home. She said she would stay there and not bother anyone else.

May 12 — Officer Blake Sanchez and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to the 7700 block of North I-135 for a drunken driver. They could not find the suspect vehicle.

May 12 — Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to a report of a northbound vehicle in the southbound lanes in the 3800 block of North I-135. He did not find the vehicle.

May 12 — Officer Blake Sanchez responded to an alarm in the 100 block of West 61st North. It was false.  

May 12 — Officer Blake Sanchez was dispatched to an alarm in the 5100 block of North Broadway but was disregarded prior to arrival.

May 11 — Officer Chuck Trimmell monitored traffic in the school zone in the 6000 block of North Independence.

May 11 — Officer Chuck Trimmell received a woman's wallet found in the restroom in the 900 block of East 53rd north. It was submitted to property and evidence.

May 11 — Officer Chuck Trimmell was flagged down by in the 1900 block of East Cedar Tree. A resident was given a set of keys found in the community mailbox in the 1700/1800 block of East Cedar Tree. Officer located the owner of the keys and returned them.

May 11 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a larceny in the 400 block of East 61st North. A woman reported the theft of a cellphone while at the doctor's office. Loss was estimated at $600.

May 11 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green assisted Det. Dwight Wilkes in recovering a stolen vehicle and taking a suspect into custody in the 200 block of South Rutan.

May 11 — Sgt. Keith Goodall took a report of a non-injury accident in the 5400 block of North Broadway.

May 11 — Officer Blake Sanchez responded to a suspicious person in the 1700 block of East Ravena. The calling party reported a truck parked outside his house with two unknown men sitting inside. Officer spoke with the men who said they were finishing up eating and about to head home.

May 11 — Officer Blake Sanchez tried to contact a resident in the 8800 block of North Hidden Lane regarding a sold vehicle. He did not contact anyone at this address.

May 10 — Sgt. Richard Wolff was contacted by a nurse from the emergency room at St. Francis Hospital requesting more information about a case.

May 10 — Officer Chuck Trimmell monitored traffic in the school zone in the 6000 block of North Independence.

May 10 — Sgt. Richard Wolff and Officer Chuck Trimmell assisted KHP by providing traffic control for a semitrailer that had jackknifed, blocking the southbound lanes in the 9000 block of North I-135.

May 10 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 4600 block of North Hydraulic to check a runaway who had returned home. She was cleared as a runaway and released to her mother.

May 10 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green responded to an alarm in the 900 block of East 53rd North. It was false.

May 10 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Andrew Corlis followed up on a case in the 4900 block of East Shadybrook.

May 10 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Andrew Corlis and Sgt. Trent Johnson stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 1600 block of East 61st North. Officers saw a marijuana pipe in plain sight and found another during a vehicle search. They arrested Zen Rincoin for a Park City warrant.

May 10 — Sgt. Trent Johnson confirmed a Park City warrant for Juan Hernandez who was already in custody in the Sedgwick County jail.

May 9 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to assist KHP with a non-injury accident at 77th North and I-135. They were disregarded upon arrival.

May 9 — Sgt. Richard Wolff assisted Valley Center police by checking the 200 block of South Meridian for a larceny suspect. He did not find the suspect vehicle.

May 9 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff assisted EMS in the 4800 block of Wyndham Road.

May 9 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 4600 block of North Old Lawrence Road for a report of eight shots fired. They spoke with several people who said they did not know who was shooting from their location. Officers found several 9 mm casings on the back porch. None of the individuals were wanted.

May 9 — Sgt. Richard Wolff served a protection-from-abuse order in the 500 block of East 63rd North.

May 9 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff assisted two individuals with a courtesy report for a minor traffic accident in the 900 block of East 61st North.

May 9 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green assisted Sedgwick County sheriff in serving warrants in the 1700 block of East Ventnor.

May 9 — Sgt. Keith Goodall took a report of a non-injury accident in the 1100 block of East 61st North.

May 9 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green responded to the 6700 block of North Randall. A woman said her juvenile son ran away from home, leaving on his bicycle, after an argument with her. Officers found the juvenile in the 6500 block of North East Parkview and took him home.

May 9 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officers Brandon Green and Todd Langford found an open gate and an open door at a business in the 1800 block of East 61st North. They checked the building and everything seemed to be OK.

May 9 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to parking violations in the park in the 6800 block of North Hydraulic. He spoke with the owners, and the vehicles were moved.

May 9 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green spoke with a woman in the 1500 block of East Frontenac who alleged that another woman was abusing her sons. Officers determined no abuse had occurred. While officers talked with the father and the other woman, the mother left with two of the boys. Officers told the mother that she interfered with child custody and could go to jail. She took the boys back to the father's house with no issues. Per their father's request, officers spoke with the boys about obeying their parents at whichever house they were.

May 9 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Andrew Corlis received additional information from the 4600 block of North Hydraulic about the location of the calling party's daughter who was a runaway. Officers contacted Wichita police to check the address given. No contact was made with the runaway.

May 9 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Andrew Corlis and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to a report of an attempted suicide in the 4600 block of North Hydraulic. The calling party said her daughter slammed a mirror on her head, which was bleeding. Officers determined that a possible domestic violence-related crime had occurred. One individual was in no condition to be interviewed and was transported by EMS.  

May 9 — Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to an audible alarm in the 300 block of West 53rd North. Employees were on the scene, and the alarm was false.

May 8 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff assisted the Valley Center High School resource officer by checking a possible suicidal juvenile in the 1800 block of East Highridge Court. Officers spoke with both the parent and the juvenile and everything was OK. There was no evidence the juvenile wanted to hurt himself or others.

May 8 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to an injury accident at 77th North and Broadway. Officers took photos and issued a citation.

May 8 — Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 6200 block of North Broadway for an elderly man who was lost. He found the man who said he could not find his way home. Officer contacted the man's daughter-in-law who was able to show him the way home.

May 8 — Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a non-injury, two-vehicle accident in the 5300 block of North Broadway. He completed a courtesy report and provided a case number to both parties.

May 8 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a suspicious person in the 900 block of East Connolly Court. The calling party reported possible human trafficking from a semitrailer at this location. Officer spoke with a truck driver and his wife who had stopped for lunch and to use the restroom. Everything appeared to be OK.

May 8 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a larceny in the 6200 block of North Hydraulic. An individual reported an unknown person removed an accessible parking placard from his vehicle at an unknown time from an unknown location.

May 8 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 1400 block of East Frontenac for a welfare check. The calling party said a man was sleeping in his vehicle in the driveway and could not wake him up. The sleeping man told the officer he works the night shift and fell asleep in his car and was OK.

May 8 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a runway in the 4600 block of North Hydraulic. A woman said her juvenile daughter skipped the last class at school and was not there when her father went to pick her up. Officer asked Wichita police to go to an address on North Grove where the runaway might possibly be, but she wasn't. Shields entered the girl into the system as a runaway.

May 8 — Sgt. Keith Goodall assisted a motorist changing a tire in the 6100 block of North I-135.

May 8 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to an alarm in the 5100 block of North Broadway. The building and gates were secure, and the alarm was deemed false.

May 8 — Officer Christopher Shields and Sgt. Keith Goodall stopped a motorist for a traffic violation in the 4800 block of North I-135. Ronreco Nesbitt was cited for the traffic violations and arrested for two Sedgwick County warrants.

May 8 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Andrew Corlis and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 500 block of East 63rd North. The calling party said her mother's live-in boyfriend threatened her. There was no evidence to support the claim. Officers explained protection from abuse and the eviction process to the calling party.

May 8 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Andrew Corlis responded to the 6800 block of North I-135 to assist a stranded motorist. The motorist said help was on the way.

May 7 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to the 2300 block of East 61st North where a resident found a 9 mm Luger bullet on his driveway in front of his garage. The bullet was submitted to property and evidence.

May 7 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a business in the 6200 block of North Broadway that received a worthless check. Loss valued at $100.

May 7 — Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 5000 block of North Primrose. A resident reported a neighbor riding an ATV with a small child in his arms up and down the street. Officer spoke with the driver's father about the incidents.

May 7 — Officer Christopher Shields took an assault report at the station. A man reported on behalf of his juvenile daughter that April 27 her grandfather hit her on the side of the face with a wireless keyboard. The father said she did not have any marks on her face. The case was forwarded to the Department for Children and Families.

May 7 — Officers Tracey Prideaux, Andrew Corlis and Blake Sanchez stopped a motorist for traffic violations in the 1000 block of East Denver. They arrested Melissa Musgrove for warrants from Barber and Sumner counties and the City of Mulvane.

May 6 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to the 1700 block of East Ventnor for a vehicle taken from a driveway between 12:30 a.m. and 8 a.m.

May 6 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to loud music in the 6300 block of North West Parkview. Officer checked the area but did not hear any loud music. He advised the calling party by telephone.

May 6 — Officer Chuck Trimmell assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with a vehicle stop in which the driver threw contraband out the window at 125th North and I-135.

May 6 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a restaurant in the 900 block of East 61st North. The manager said an elderly customer did not know how she got there, kept falling asleep and was incoherent. EMS transported the patient.

May 6 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to an alarm in the 5700 block of North Broadway. It was false.

May 6 — Officer Chuck Trimmell assisted Kechi police with a residential hold-up alarm in the 7700 block of East Oak Tree Lane. It was false.

May 6 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz, along with Kechi police and Sedgwick County sheriff, assisted Bel Aire police with domestic violence with a gun in the 5600 block of North Lycee. Bel Air police arrested the suspect.

May 6 — Officers Todd Langford, Brandon Green and Chuck Trimmell served a Sedgwick County warrant on Stephen B. Thompson in the 1000 block of East Evanston.

May 6 — Officers Todd Langford, Brandon Green and Chuck Trimmell served a Park City warrant on Christopher Keith Alan Rather in the 4600 block of North Old Lawrence Road.

May 6 — Officer Chuck Trimmell stopped to check an inoperable motorcycle at 61st North and Broadway. The biker pushed it off the road into a parking lot.

May 6 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green recovered a stolen auto in the 1700 block of East Ventnor. Nothing was missing, and there was no suspect.

May 6 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Andrew Corlis assisted Sedgwick County sheriff by contacting a resident in the 1600 block of East Denver about picking up his family members.
