Stolen truck recovered By The News staff Last Updated: May 18, 2017 A person of interest was taken into custody and a stolen truck was recovered May 10. Valley Center police said a truck that was taken from the parking lot of a business in the industrial park last week was found in a ditch at 93rd North and Ridge. The truck had been damaged and modified. A suspect also allegedly wrote checks from a checkbook that was in the truck when it was stolen. The suspect was booked into jail on a charge of forgery, but the charge did not go forward. The case is under investigation. |
