 DAVID HENSLEY Last Updated: May 18, 2017 David Gene Hensley, 64, Valley Center, died May 15, 2017. He was retired from the Boeing Aircraft Company. He was born in Wichita to Jack and Bertie Hensley. He graduated from Valley Center High School and was a longtime resident of Valley Center. He served in the U.S. Army, including a tour in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Darrel and Richard, and son Jeremy. Survivors include wife Cheryl (Farthing) Hensley; daughter Jessica (Wade) Davis; brother Terry (Deborah) Hensley; grandson Quentin Davis; nephews Cody Hensley, Jacob Hensley and Chris Hensley; sister-in-law Rhonda (Jim) Presley; brother-in-law Ron (Pat Noullet) Farthing; father-in law-Ronald Farthing and mother-in-law Sonia Farthing. A celebration of David's life will be held at 6 p.m. May 20 at Spirits Pub in Valley Center. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lifeline Animal Protection and Placement, 310 W. 45th North, Wichita 67204. Baker Funeral Home of Valley Center has charge. |
