Man arrested on lawn mower
By Chris Strunk
Last Updated: May 18, 2017

A Valley Center man arrested on a DUI charge while driving a lawn mower in Valley Center was found hurt in front of his garage six days later.

Police said on May 8 they were called to the 800 block of South Meridian where a man was seen carrying a stick into traffic and inviting oncoming cars to hit him. When officers arrived, they saw the man driving a lawn mower south in the northbound lanes of Meridian.

Bryan Langille, 28, was arrested on a charge of DUI.

On May 14, police were sent to Leeker's Family Foods on an unknown call for EMS. It was later determined to be a battery. Langille was found outside of his garage in the 800 block of South Meridian with blood coming from his mouth and nose. He also had several contusions on his head.

Police said Langille had been in a fight with a friend. He refused EMS treatment.
