Graffiti was discovered on the west wall of the pool. Feb. 26 Officer Joe Dessenberger assisted Park City police with an active disturbance in a room at Motel 6, 1075 E. Hopalong Cassidy. Feb. 26 Officer Joe Dessenberger assisted a citizen at 604 N. Redbud. Feb. 26 Officer Joe Dessenberger checked the welfare of a pedestrian in the 10500 block of North Broadway. A sheriff's deputy took the person to Harvey County. Feb. 26 Officer Ryan Mumma responded to an abandoned vehicle at 140 S. Colby. The vehicle belonged to a couple who no longer lived at the residence. The vehicle was marked with a red tag. Feb. 26 Officer Ryan Mumma responded to a domestic disturbance at 709 W. Third. The two parties separated without incident. Feb. 26 Officer Ryan Mumma assisted the sheriff's office at 53rd and Meridian. Deputies asked for the deployment of spike strips in case a vehicle pursuit started while making a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle. The suspect complied with officers. Feb. 25 Officer Sara Schaller took a report from a person who said he was receiving lewd voicemail messages and texts from a number unknown to him. Feb. 25 Officer Sara Schaller took a criminal damage to property report. A woman reported that someone damaged the dead bolt to her backdoor in a suspected attempt to break into her home. Feb. 25 Officer Eric Leeker checked a building at 117 S. Park. Feb. 25 Officer Erik Nygaard responded to an alarm at Dollar General, 220 E. Ford. The alarm was deemed false. Feb. 24 Officer Sara Schaller responded to an auto theft at 234 E. Allen. Feb. 24 Officer Sara Schaller took a fraud report. The reporting party said someone was trying to cash a check that was stolen from his vehicle. Feb. 24 Officer Sara Schaller took an individual into custody for bringing a firearm into the emergency room at St. Joseph hospital. Feb. 24 Officer Eric Leeker stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at 200 S. Meridian. A small amount of marijuana was found in the vehicle. A 17-year-old girl was released to her mother. The case was to be forward to the juvenile district attorney. Feb. 24 Officer Erik Nygaard stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 6600 block of North Meridian. The driver, Marshall Ratzlaff, was arrested on charges of driving with a revoked license, driving while a habitual violator and no insurance and on two Wichita warrants. Feb. 23 Officers assisted animal control with a combative citizen at 121 S. Meridian and 145 N. Meridian. Feb. 23 Officers responded to an alarm at 301 W. 93rd North. The alarm was deemed false. Feb. 23 Officers took a report of lost property. A man reported losing his wallet and its contents somewhere in Valley Center on Feb. 22. Feb. 23 Officers took a report of a man's former roommate taking his tax return check at 8425 N. Broadway. Feb. 23 Officers responded to an injury accident at 93rd North and Broadway. A silver Honda Civic, which was parked in front of the garage, was stolen. Feb. 22 Officers Jeremy Manning and Erik Nygaard assisted EMS at 440 N. Colby. Feb. 21 Officer J.C. Kirk checked for a stolen vehicle that was traveling south on Broadway from Harvey County. He did not locate the vehicle. Feb. 21 Officer J.C. Kirk responded to a non-injury accident at Meridian and Allen. A vehicle northbound on Meridian struck a second vehicle when the second vehicle was southbound on Meridian and attempting to turn onto Allen. The driver of the second vehicle was cited for inattentive driving. Feb. 21 Officer J.C. Kirk took a report at the station of a worthless check. A woman reported receiving a check that bounced. Feb. 21 Officer J.C. Kirk responded to an open door at 100 N. Redbud. A passerby noticed an open garage door on a house under construction. The house was searched and nothing seemed out of place.
